1. What is CLMAS?

As a healthcare professional authorised to administer medications, you must know the correct workflow for barcoded medication administration, as governed by the policies of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). This section discusses what these systms are and how they work.

2. Meet Belal and Fatima

In this section, we meet two patients who need their medications.
We look at the importance of patient wristbands and the need for witness nurses to ensure that patients are receiving the correct medications.

3.Meet Omar and Nadia

In this section, we meet two more patients who have conditions that require more attention from nurses.
We look at scanning of wrong doses of medication, and incorrect scanning of wristbands.

4.Difficult patients, trouble-shooting, and workarounds

In this section we meet Maryam, who is being difficult with nurses, and we discuss the need for patients to wear their wristbands. We also look at some of the most common technical problems you could face with scanning, and what to do about it.
