1. Transporting Children Safely

Describes what happens during a crash, how car seats, booster seats, and seat belts prevent injury and identifies the responsibilities of a child passenger safety technician.

2. Using Child Restraints

Describes the types of child restraints, parts of a car seat, using restraints in other vehicles, and for children with special needs.

3. Locking Seat Belts

Distinguishes between different types of seat belt latch plates and seat belt retractors. Describes how to use a locking clip and identifies the function of a belt-tightening clip.

4. Fitting Car and Booster Seats

Shows how to use car seats and booster seats correctly.
